MSC Cruises today announced that it will be expanding its seven-night Red Sea itinerary MSC Splendida for the 2022/2023 winter season with 33 shore excursions including Cairo, Egypt and three ports of embarkation at Sokhna Port and Safaga in Egypt. plus Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, according to a press release.
7-day MSC Splendida voyage calling at Sokhna, Safaga, Hurghada and Luxor, Egypt; Aqaba for Petra, Jordan; Jeddah for AlUla, Saudi Arabia and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, the company said in a statement.
The line also introduced a 9-day “Fly&Cruise” vacation with a two-day pre-stay in Cairo before the 7-day voyage.
Extended 13-hour stay at Sokhna Port in Egypt allows for a trip to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the only remaining “Seven Wonders of the World”.
