The cruise ship Celebrity Edge was launched in the winter of 2018, originally based in the Caribbean. In the spring, returning to Europe, he made many travelers happy, because such a handsome man had never been seen in the Mediterranean. This is Celebrity’s first Edge class ship. And, by the way, next year the liner’s sister, Celebrity Apex, will be released. The ship will also sail on Mediterranean cruises.
Celebrity Edge was truly incredible. Very modern, with plenty of space, large and ergonomic cabins, and bars and restaurants with a delightful atmosphere. What can we say, there is even a mobile bar on the ship. The ship truly exceeded all expectations!
Cabins
On the Celebrity Edge, like on any other ship, there are 4 types of cabins. Interior, window cabins, balcony cabins and Suite class cabins. All cabins are very spacious and equipped with the latest technology. Using a special gadget, you can adjust the light, air temperature in the cabin, and also open the blinds on the balcony. The interior cabin and the window cabin are surprising in their size, they are very spacious! The range of included services and facilities are similar to those of a cabin with a balcony. The cabin with a balcony is also very spacious (19 m2), the balcony itself is quite large, and its feature is a closing window that protects from wind and rain.
I would like to highlight the Suite with a balcony in the Sky category, with an area of 28 m2 (+ balcony 9 m2). It is suitable for discerning cruisers who are accustomed to comfort and convenience. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass balcony doors blur the boundaries with the sea and visually increase the area of the cabin. In addition, Suite category cabins have a number of privileges: a personal butler, access to a separate Retreat area with a pool and lounge, access to the Luminae restaurant, bottled water in the cabin and a welcome bottle of champagne.
Power system
The power system on Celebrity Edge is as special as the ship itself. There is a buffet on deck 14, which is open almost 24 hours a day. You can come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dishes are very varied: steaks (they are cooked right in front of you), various salads, seafood dishes, fruits, simply incredible desserts and much more. There are also themed nights, such as a Japanese night where you can try miso soup. I would like to note that at the buffet, soft drinks and water are available 24 hours a day completely free of charge.
In addition to the buffet, the ship has 4 main restaurants, which are already included in the price of your cruise. You can book a place in them in advance, at any time convenient for you, or when booking, indicate that you want to dine on a certain shift. Restaurant Tuscan (Italian cuisine), Normandie (French cuisine), Cosmopolitan (New American cuisine), Cyprus (Mediterranean cuisine)! All 4 restaurants are very stylish, the service is top notch, and the dishes are simply masterpiece! Scallops, salmon tartare, steaks, lobsters, and much more. In addition to the main restaurants, there are also alternative restaurants on the ship. Such as a Steak House or a seafood restaurant.
Entertainment
A cruise ship is one big fun. On it you can relax by the pool, go to the spa, play sports – these entertainments await you during the day. In the evening, theatrical performances and discos are held on the ship. For example, on the ship we really liked the silent party (silent disco), at the beginning of the party you are given headphones in which music plays and everyone moves to it, but you can’t hear it in the hall itself. A very interesting spectacle! There is also a casino for ship guests; in addition to slot machines, you can play poker, roulette and other gambling games. We also really remembered and enjoyed the open-air cinema. It is held in the late afternoon in the garden on the open deck.

Celebrity Edge is the most incredible ship I have ever seen. What makes it so is the ship’s crew, the atmosphere, and, of course, innovations that are not found on other ships:
- The Magic Carpet mobile platform is the world’s first platform on a ship that reaches a height of 13 floors above sea level. Thanks to it, you will soar over the open ocean with breathtaking views, your favorite drink in your hands and the performance of musicians.
- Roof garden – a garden with living plants on the open deck. During the day, open-air films are shown here, and discos are held in the evening.
- Eden Restaurant – a restaurant with an open kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared. The restaurant also has a special atmosphere: acrobats, singers, dancers – during dinner you will find a simply magical performance. The restaurant’s menu is very diverse; there is everything from duck breast to oysters. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is not included in the price of the cruise and must be booked separately.

For the winter season, the ship will go on cruises to the Caribbean islands, but don’t worry! Already in the spring he will return to the Mediterranean Sea again to delight us with his cruises.
