“If clients refuse trips and demand a refund, then tour operators face the task of resolving the issue of returning their deposits and funds allocated for booking. These measures require a lot of time, and in most cases this refunds are not provided for by foreign partners. In order to level the situation, tour operators have taken a number of measures to resolve problematic issues, such as transferring dates and holiday destinations. In addition, it is planned to issue a tourist certificate and an additional agreement between the travel company and the tourist.
In the case of a simultaneous large flow of requests for refunds and claims, this may lead to the suspension of the work of travel companies and their bankruptcy, which will not be the best solution to the situation for all parties
Now it is important to look for alternative solutions that satisfy all parties.
Mutual understanding between tourists and subjects of tourism activities will allow enterprises to survive in the current conditions, and tourists to fully relax after overcoming all difficulties
In this regard, we ask citizens to be understanding of this situation and postpone their demands on travel companies until the market recovers”
