Azamara Announces Waiver of Vaccination Requirement for Guests

Azamara has announced that it will waive the COVID-19 vaccination requirement effective December 1, 2022 for guests traveling on all flights within the Caribbean and Europe unless required by local regulations.
Regardless of vaccination status, Azamara said it will continue to encourage all guests departing from any port to get tested at their leisure before travel to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. These results will not be required for boarding.
“The safety of our guests and crew is our top priority and we continue to closely monitor the evolving global situation,” Azamara President Carol Cabezas said in a statement. “Azamara continues to implement the highest safety measures in accordance with local health authorities and the current positive direction of the tourism industry. We look forward to many people being able to join us on the exciting cruising experience we are known for and explore the beautiful places along the Azamara route.”
Azamara recently decided to eliminate the requirement for COVID-19 testing upon boarding, effective July 25, 2022. COVID-19 testing will continue to be available to guests on board as needed. To provide a safe environment for guests and crew, Azamara crew will continue to be fully vaccinated and wear masks on board.
