Costa cancels winter programs in Europe on two ships

Costa Cruises has canceled winter programs on two ships that were scheduled to cruise around Europe.
Costa Venezia will remain open until early December. All cruises from December 1 to mid-April 2023 have been cancelled, according to a company statement, which said: “The product is an ideal offering for certain nationalities who are unable to access it in the current scenario.”
The ship was scheduled to cruise from Turkey to Egypt, Israel and Cyprus, visiting Istanbul, Bodrum, Limassol, Haifa, Alexandria and Kusadasi.
Next year, Venezia will be operated by Carnival Cruise Line in North America as part of Costa by Carnival and will sail from New York.
Additionally, Costa Diadema will complete its schedule in the Mediterranean on November 22. Its winter season, which ran until April 7, 2023, has been cancelled.
“Costa Diadema will resume its cruise program starting April 7, 2023, with 14-night Canary Islands cruises already scheduled, followed by seven-day Western Mediterranean cruises already available on all our channels,” the company said in a statement.
