Great cruise news! MSC Cruises extends Gulf season by 3 months

MSC Cruises announced the extension of the current season in the Persian Gulf by three months.
According to a press release, MSC Bellissima will sail 12 additional seven-night cruises between April 2 and June 25, calling at Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sir Bani Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates and Doha in Qatar.
The ship will complete its scheduled Red Sea route on March 26 from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before sailing to the Persian Gulf to relieve MSC Virtuosa on April 2.
MSC Virtuosa has been sailing in the Gulf region since November 2021, and after the end of the winter season, will make an epic voyage to Europe and its home port in Southampton, UK in the summer of 2022.
MSC Cruises said the Gulf was “particularly attractive” to its guests this winter thanks to the “attractiveness of the Virtuosa itinerary with an extended port stay and two overnights in Dubai.”
The cruise line believes that the effectiveness of the health and safety protocols established on board the ship and by local authorities for entry and stay in the region also made guests feel safe.
These cruises are also attractive because they are very affordable for cruisers,  with excellent connections to Dubai International Airport.
