MSC will sail in Japan all year round

MSC Cruises has announced that it will sail year-round in Japan on MSC Bellissima.

The line recently marked the start of its 2023 summer season in Japan with a ship in Yokohama with a special event celebrating its 15-year presence in the country, and also opened sales of its first winter sailing program in Japan.

Year-round sailings mean MSC Cruises now offers the largest cruise capacity in the country and is poised to become the number one cruise line in Japan.

The company will operate eight- to nine-night sailings from Yokohama this summer, with winter 2023-2024 sailings beginning in November with 11-, nine-, and six-night cruises from the same port.

Between January and March 2024, the ship will return to its home port in Naha/Okinawa for sailings within Japan and Taiwan (China), offering cruises of four to five nights and a variety of itineraries for visiting different destinations.

These include Okinawa, Japan’s fifth largest island known for its tropical climate, beaches and coral reefs, Ishigaki, another beach destination, and Miyako Island, known for its underwater caves.

MSC Bellissima will also visit the mountains surrounding the city of Keelung in Taiwan.
