Princess Cruises has announced a new invitation-only event on board the Discovery Princess and soon on the Enchanted Princess, according to a press release.
The company said the fully immersive 360: An Extraordinary Experience will transport guests to the Mediterranean Sea and take them on a six-sense journey through the hilltops of Santorini, the Amalfi Coast, Barcelona and Provence.
Through storytelling, cuisine, imagery, music, and flavors, guests will learn about local ingredients, artisans, and culinary techniques, followed by a seven-course gourmet meal and wines from all over the world.
“360 Degrees is a fusion of masterful storytelling, world-class cuisine, visual entertainment and groundbreaking technology, resulting in what can only be described as an extraordinary experience,” said Princess President John Padgett. “360 Degrees is a wonderful adventure that immerses our guests in the irresistible culture and flavors of the Mediterranean in a 90-minute feast for the senses.”
The new venue seats 20 guests surrounded by LED walls that use 4K cinematography to take guests to Mediterranean destinations.
Guests will be taken on a sensual journey by the voice of famous actress and model Brooke Shields.
As the Mediterranean debuts in the spotlight, Princes Cruises 360: The Extraordinary can be configured and adapted. The venue can be personalized using the OCEAN platform, the platform that powers the exclusive MedallionClass on Princes Cruises.
360: The Extraordinary Experience is currently available exclusively to guests who have booked suite accommodations aboard Discovery Princess and Enchanted Princess, to guests who have booked a future cruise aboard those ships, or to any Princess ship, including Princess Premier and non-cancellable rates.
Guests can also earn invitations by participating in VIP casino online games and retail sailing events.
Discovery Princess is currently on a five-day voyage to Cabo San Lucas and will return to Los Angeles, California on November 10th.
