Royal Caribbean is ready for international cruise calls in Singapore

Royal Caribbean International is adding international port calls to Singapore cruises for the first time since cruises resume in late 2020.
Spectrum of the Seas begins cruising to popular Malaysian destinations from June 30, calling at Penang and Kuala Lumpur on new three- and four-night itineraries.
“We are thrilled to be the first cruise line in Singapore to once again connect holidaymakers to the beautiful destinations of Asia. The vibrant and culturally rich cities of Penang and Kuala Lumpur have a lot to offer, and this is just the beginning,” said Angie Stephen, Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Royal Caribbean International.
“More than two years later, the excitement from guests, both locals and cruise ship passengers, as well as our travel partners, is undeniable. Singapore is a popular destination in its own right, and its proximity to neighboring countries makes it easy to travel and explore. There’s no better way to take full advantage of this than on a cruise, where guests can enjoy an unrivaled combination of thrills, entertainment, dining and activities as they travel from one idyllic destination to another on Spectrum of the Seas.”
“We are working closely with various governments in Southeast Asia to agree on cruise protocols and policies and are pleased to resume port calls in Malaysia to begin sailings,” said Annie Chung, director of cruise operations at the Singapore Tourism Board. “Port calls will provide more leisure opportunities, and we look forward to new and repeat cruises in the coming year as more ports open in the region.”
Follow our news, a cruise program with calls to Singapore will be announced soon.
